Lauren went to NMMU (now NMU) in Port Elizabeth where she obtained a National 3 year Diploma in Photography with the intention of pursuing a career in retouching. After a two year stint as a photographer on cruise ships, she relocated to Cape Town, worked as a retoucher for a stock company, an e-commerce store and in magazine publishing. She has been a full time freelancer since 2017 working on brands such as GH Mumm, Jameson, Too Faced and Asics. Lauren relocated to London in 2022 where she continues to freelance as a senior retoucher. Lauren has been working with Hero since day 1 and is a valued and trusted team member for many of our artists and clients.
